THE SIDE OF ME YOU NEVER SEE

This is just a tiny peer into the shallower end of the depths of my soul. A lot of things may be out of character from my natural demeanor but I can't allow myself to worry about that anymore. I am a structure with walls however, the doors are now wide open.

Ever needed to engulfed in something so sweet, yet so bewitching; something that consumes you like a moth drawn to the flame? If not you will be....to help me...to understand me...you must first help and understand yourself.

SEX IN OUR LIVES. CAN WE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT?

Why is that today's music is so fascinated with sex and body parts and "tryin' to get to you and that monkey?" can't we talk about love and tryin to get through the day like we used to? I mean yes as an aspiring song writer myself not all of my songs stay away from bedroom life or activities but they could be played on the local radio staitions without having to bleep out portions because it's about a coochie or puttin' somebody penis on your forehead. The people involed with creating and writing these song are not un-learned ignoramuses. Of course we have constituional protections and of course they are labeled as artists and bring personal experiences to the forefront of Americas conservative ears but not every song has to be about bangin some hoe, trick, or bitch back out then havin your unbornflow in her mouth cuz she went down on you.
I'm just saying if we keep airing our dirty laundry on the radio waves and we grow up alright and we keep supplying this and direct it to the younger generations then they become sexually active at earlier ages and start having kids and possibly spreading HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases when it all could have been slowed by thinking about what we are going to present to the media for self- advancement. I am not standing on my soap box for nothing. I'm not even saying that we need to conform to a strictly no-sex, no freedom of speech campaign on the radios/ in media. I am saying that we must use caution in the ways we want to talk about our experiences. Since we are artists, let's get creative. Be creative if we want to let the people in our old hoods know about that special person you had your first time with or you ran your first train on. Pick up the phone.

Don't read much into that second to last statement. I don't support running trains at all but its out there in our ears and our kids. CAN WE PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT?!!
